General Description

The BRNLTL-GB is a high performance external cavity tunable laser for coherent optical transceivers in metro and long haul applications. It presents excellent operating characteristics such as high output power, ultra-narrow linewidth, and low intrinsic noise, making the BRNLTL-GB suitable in challenging advanced electro-optical modulation formats such as 64QAM and 256QAM. Its small dimensions and low power consumption enable high-density transceivers such as CFP2, CFP4 and CFP8 pluggable modules.

The BRNLTL-GB design allows important performance advantages such as flexible grid operation up to 6.25 GHz, high tuning speed of milliseconds, and high reliability.
