General Description

The BRNLTL-uITLA is a high performance tunable external cavity laser (ECL) in Micro-ITLA form factor (OIF compliant) for coherent optical transceivers in metro and long haul applications. It presents excellent operating characteristics such as high output power, ultra-narrow linewidth, and low intrinsic noise, making the BRNLTL-uITLA suitable in challenging advanced electro-optical modulation formats such as 64QAM.

In order to support applications with aggressive restrictions like CFPx pluggable modules, the BRNLTL-uITLA presents a very small form factor and low power consumption. Such features are also important for the next-generation 400Gb/s and 1Tb/s multi-carrier optical transceivers.
